Honing cognition
Honing is a finishing process of the finishing surface using oil stone (also known as honing strips) embedded on the honing head. The contact area between the honing and the hole surface is larger and the processing efficiency is higher. Under certain conditions, planes can also be processed.
The structural principle of honing head
The speed of the honing head is generally 100-200 rpm, and the speed of round-trip movement is generally 15-20 meters/min. In order to remove chips and abrasive particles, improve surface roughness and reduce cutting area temperature, a large amount of cutting fluid is often used during operation, such as kerosene or a small amount of spindle oil is added, and sometimes extreme pressure emulsion is also used.
